Porterville General Plan and EIR

Porterville, located in Tulare County along Tule River in Central Valley, prides itself on having “the Good Life,” and the new plan builds on the city’s civic pride, strong neighborhoods, and its natural setting. Working with the community and a Steering Committee, D&B developed a plan that shapes growth to achieve sustainable, compact development, and a strong open space network of protected land, agricultural lands, parks, and recreation areas. The plan also includes an Economic Development Element to support new businesses, job creation, and expansion of workforce education opportunities.
