Visalia General Plan Update and EIR

Dyett & Bhatia prepared a comprehensive General Plan update and associated EIR for the City of Visalia, a growing community in the heart of California’s San Joaquin Valley.

The General Plan integrates sustainability goals into the long-range planning process, with an emphasis on community enrichment, employment growth and diversification, and natural resource conservation and stewardship. Community outreach included bi-lingual newsletters and mail-in survey, project website, public workshops, and a series of multilingual focus groups and structured stakeholder outreach.
